Short Bio

Anas Toma is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Informatics, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany. His main research interests are real-time systems, high-performance and energy-efficient scheduling, algorithm design and analysis, and computer vision. He received his B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from An-Najah National University, Palestine in 2005. He worked for one year as teaching and research assistant at An-Najah National University. In 2008, He received his M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan. From 2008 to ‚Äč2011, Anas worked as lecturer at An-Najah National University. Then, he joined KIT and started his doctoral research in October 2011. Anas was awarded two scholarships by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for his master and doctoral studies, in addition to the Tuition Fees Waiver Award during his Bachelor study.
